WALL CLADDING AND DOWNPIPE WORKS LONDON
Coverclad Services were instructed to remove and reinstate existing composite wall cladding panels to facilitate the installation of glazing to two window bays at a retail unit in London, on behalf of the main contractor.
The works were carried out over a series of visits in order to fit around other contractor works and included repositioning of existing downpipes by offsetting and tucking them neatly against the wall to the side of the new glazing sections.

Progress view of the left-hand bay after we removed the existing panels, flashings and downpipes, to facilitate the installation of the new upper glazing area by others.
Completed view showing the top of the right-hand bay, with new upper glazing installed by others and existing composite panels with associated flashings reinstated by us. We also changed the route of the downpipe offsetting and tucking neatly against the wall.
Completed view of the new upper glazing area to the right-hand bay, with existing composite panels re-fixed and downpipe tucked neatly to the left. Re-routing the downpipe both improved the aesthetic look of the bay and also allowed more light to penetrate into the unit.
Completed view of the right-hand bay downpipe being re-routed so that it falls back into the original groundwork drainage.
Completed view of the left-hand bay downpipe, again being re-routed into the original groundwork drainage.
