GIROMAX INDUSTRIAL ROOFING REPAIRS IN DUDLEY
Coverclad Services was contracted to undertake Giromax industrial roofing repairs in Dudley to a storage unit for an interior design company. The unit was an end of terrace consisting two roof slopes together with one valley gutter and one perimeter gutter.
The job description for our approved Giromax installers was to first wash down the roof to remove the debris and lichen, then to prepare and treat the cut edge corrosion to the ridge joints, eaves and parapet capping joints with Giromax, then finally to install a Giromax High Performance Gutter System. Our industrial roofing experts also replaced the external skins to the GRP rooflights as part of the works.
A short two-week window was allotted so we dispatched two of our Giromax teams to Dudley to complete the works within the allotted timeframe. Photos are below. One of our Giromax experts in Dudley progressing along the roof sheet eaves into a corner. Rooflights were covered with roof stagings in areas of works to protect the operatives, and scaffold edge protection was only required to the ridge flashing areas up to the roof entry point from a diesel scissor lift, where the parapet wall did not meet the current recommended edge protection height.
