UNBLOCK SYPHONIC OUTLETS IN BIRMINGHAM
Coverclad Services were contracted to unblock syphonic outlets in Birmingham, at an industrial unit. Several outlets had become blocked as a result of a regular gutter clearance from a third-party contractor.
Our task was to attend site for one day and attempt to unblock the syphonic outlets using a mixture of pump and rodding equipment, which proved successful. Photos are below. There was no water in the outlets or gutter on the day of works, so we took up a barrel of water for testing each outlet for blockages. Outlet guards were removed and water was poured into the outlets.
